Oh the delicious aroma when you walk through the doors! I got the chicken tikka masala which is their signature dish and they're garlic naan bread...so good. Before leaving, we asked for some water but their dispenser was down so they gave us a free bottle. Very nice people. We asked questions and they gave samples. If you like Indian food or if you've never tried, go here for your next meal!

Over December, I made the decision to visit California. As a vegetarian, food is always a concern when travelling. From my experience as a veteran traveller, I’ve learned that asking locals is the best way to discover truly good food. So I asked around—and time and time again, I was led to Masala House. I spoke to people from as far as 80 miles away and was genuinely surprised to hear Masala House mentioned as a staple name by so many. Any surprise I had quickly disappeared once I visited. The restaurant more than lived up to its reputation. The food transported me straight back to India, offering an authenticity and depth of flavour that I deeply miss back home in Ireland. It was more than just a meal—it was an experience I long to return to.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. The food is affordable, not that spicy (which means I can actually eat it), but at the same time it's still really flavorful. Since it's cafeteria style and they only put the name of the dish, but not always what's in it, you have to trust that what you're pointing to is something you'll like. I basically pointed to whatever was on the vegetarian side on the left, color sauce I liked, and was ok with whatever was poking out of it. Since I wanted to have leftovers for dinner, my sister and I ordered 2 combo plates each, opened them all up, tasted each thing, then devoured whatever we liked best right then and there. My sister was like "This looks like a feast!" Just beware that there might be a little bit of a language barrier because even though the employees speak English, there's a thick accent which makes understanding each other difficult. Like I could tell we were both getting a little frustrated with each other and raising our voices as if that would help clarify things. In the end, I resorted to simply pointing and saying "This one." The 2 things I hope they improve upon is: 1) Put both the name and ingredients of each dish on the label. That's mostly where the confusion is. 2) Premake the naan bread so it can be eaten at the same time as the meal, not towards the end. So even though things got a little bit frustrating while ordering, it also made me appreciate the fact that these are actual Indian-Americans cooking authentic Indian food.

We love Masala House! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Even though we moved from Eastvale 4 years ago, we’ll keep returning here for the best Indian food ever. I love how they’ve grown as a family business and now we can actually eat inside (before it was the market and to-go only). My husband doesn’t even like ethnic food but he loves the chicken curry here. You won’t regret it here! Money well spent, even better than more formal Indian restaurants. And they’re prices are so reasonable even after many years. Thank you guys for bringing deliciousness to the community!!
